Such a beautifully crafted, high quality cooking vessel! I tried cooking Japanese rice in it as my first attempt. Rice came out fluffy and delicious. I might put a tad less water in it since I do prefer a firmer tasting rice though. Make sure to wait and not just eat the rice as soon as it is completed cooking. Definitely needs to sit a few minutes afterwards. Can’t wait to cook a meal with it!

Just got this for 2 weeks, and love it so far. I followed the instructions in the included recipe book to make roasted sweet potatoes, bibimbap, white rice. They all came out very nice. I made the best tasting brown rice and lentils soup using this pot. Highly recommend!

It was daunting at first but I started with simple recipes from the provided cookbook and have now expanded to others. I'm almost ashamed to say it but I use AI as well. I find a recipe I like and then ask AI if the recipe will work with a musui-kamado. Very often the answer is yes and AI will adjust the recipe to accommodate it. At this point when I am getting ready to prepare a meal I assume I can do it with the musui-kamado, or at least much of it. I now use my gas stovetop and oven less frequently. Even more important, it cooks the food beautifully.

The entire set is awesome, especially for the steam function and I found the recipe book is very useful. Only one con is that the enamel coating on the edge of the lid and pot get chipping easily compared to other brands. The heat conducts evenly and quickly. Overall, I would like to purchase the 2nd one for my family.
