I’ve had my Musui Kamado for 4 years now. It’s build it nothing but quality. The pot is so easy to clean after cooking. It has replaced a crock pot, rice cooker and instapot. More space in my kitchen. But I love the functionality of it - I stew, braise, fry, wet roast, and cook rice in it. That’s all I’ve discovered so far. I knew it was pricey when I bought it but with the intention that it would replace a lot of appliances and be a work horse. It has done just that. It’s used at least once a week and a staple in my kitchen.

I have owned many rice cookers (some costing more than $1000) but this Kamado makes the tastiest and fluffiest rice ever! Better than induction/pressure cooking/fully computerized/etc ones. I just love it! I am still learning how to employ the "Mushi" cooking method but have made a roast beef and a pork dishes. They came out moist and flavorful. 100% recommend.
