We have owned a Musui-Kamado cooker for 4 years now and it’s one of the few appliances that stays on our countertop. We don’t have a a ton of kitchen space but this piece of equipment gets used so much it’s become a staple of the kitchen. I use it primarily for long stews and making rice and I have to say outside of cooking rice in a traditional clay pot this makes the most consistent rice I’ve ever experienced out of a machine. Perfect every time.

I love everything it cooks but the most surprising thing is hard boiled eggs. I have always been oddly obsessed with the perfect hard boiled egg and this cooker nails it every time.
Rice is always perfect. Soups are great. And the cooker itself is beautiful.

The MK grows on me every time I use it It was one of the best cooking things that I have ever bought and trust me I've bought a lot over the decades. I'm impressed with the improvement in flavour that I am experiencing. Steamed beets are over the top delicious as is corn on the cob. I've made a lot of soups, stews, steamed eggs and made bread. I love this tool and so glad I bought it and it is backed up with supreme service. I also have 2 frying pans, enameled cast iron, one with a walnut handle (looks like new after years of use) and one for the oven. One has a home on my stove. :)

Spendy but worth it. We’ve used it so many ways beyond rice. The included cookbook is great.
